Deeply connected to his hometown of Windsor, Ontario, Jeremiah is a founding member and board director of the Black Council of Windsor-Essex, an advocacy organization established in 2020 to mobilize community responses to systemic racism in the region.
Shaped by a decade of non-profit leadership, grassroots organizing, and policy advocacy, Jeremiah brings a focused passion for advancing equity, protecting vulnerable communities, and strengthening access to justice. In 2023, he received the Hon. Lincoln M. Alexander Award from the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario in recognition of his leadership in fostering inclusive communities.
In his spare time, Jeremiah serves on various nonprofit boards, mentors youth, and enjoys travelling, exploring new foods, and a well-made matcha—despite the ongoing debate about its taste.
