Jordan Haworth is the founder of DemandPay, a legal technology platform that helps employees affordably understand their rights.

DemandPay helps everyday workers navigate the Small Claims Court system for wrongful dismissal claims and related human rights issues, while also connecting them with limited-scope legal services.

Jordan built DemandPay as a practicing employment lawyer. As Associate Counsel at Evans Law Firm, he represents employees and executives in wrongful dismissal, long-term disability and human rights matters, and has seen how often people are unable to access legal representation due to their income.

DemandPay was accepted into the Legal Innovation Zone Incubator program at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Before law school, Jordan earned a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and reported on crime, police and courts for Postmedia, investigating disparities in policing and the judicial system. He was part of a team whose First Nations water quality investigation was nominated for several awards, including the Michener Award for Public Service Journalism.
